i have a few questions about painting my engine cover...are there any reccommendations on what type of paint to use for this do i need a high temp paint? im not sure if krylon fusion would be good for this type of application or not. does the cover need to be sanded first? should i put on a spray clear coat when im done? and lastly would i be able to put overlays on the 3800 and supercharged emblems? like would they stick...im sure these are simple questions but i just want to be sure on some of this stuff before i jump into painting my engine bay

Painted engine cover = RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE.

Find a guy named Whitcomb.

Have him paint it...zomg awesome looking.

I used the high heat engine enamel on my old GT turned out good no clear coat I believe clear coat is much more flammable I am sure you could find some high heat clear coat but i dunno

I need something to cover the ugliness of the vacuum lines behind the UIM. It's a freaking rats nest! Anyone done anything back there?
