Painting an Air Dam in Chicago

I am getting an SD air dam for my b-day and I am wondering how much people are charging to get this painted. I definitely want to keep the factory silver in the middle and body match the rest. Does anyone know the paint code for the silver color? If anyone can recommend a shop near chicago from personal expierence or if anyone has a gun of there own, that would work too.
Thanks in advance.

prep it yourself and take it to maaco. be like $50 bucks.

Before anyone starts raggin on maaco, they do **** prep, if you prep it yourself right then the final will be good, wet sand it buff it and bolt it on.

That's actually true, be sure to tell them though.

It shouldnt be a problem, I know quite a few maaco's in the nw burbs have car gurus working there, but again you get what you pay for, I had to have a dent removed from a 1/4 panel on my 78 mino, not a bad one either, no frame damage or anything but it was a 65 mph rear end accident, I was dead stopped and the civic slammed into me, anyways they did the work in 3 days and it matched exactly to the paint I had custom mixed and body lines were straight, I paid 850 bucks.

There is a certain maaco in itasca that has a custom rod builder working there or did work there, his work can be seen here EuroTeknik Forum - Chicago's Premier European Car Community - BMW, Audi, VW, Porsche - View Single Post - Voodoo Kings Saturday Night Cruise - Pics
