Paint question

I'm going to be painting my front and rear bumpers black here before the end of may so I'm starting to put stuff together to get it done. so here is my question. is there a rattle can clear coat that is harder? I'm wondering this because i painted my mirrors on my pickup a few years ago and now they are starting to get pretty pitted. I know that this is inevitable but I'd at least like to try and slow it down

just the lower part frount and rear. Id like to repaint the whole thing but this will help how it looks dramatically. the part im talkin about is that off grey part on the bottom that is sometimes but not as often the same color as your car.(i hope that makes sense)

try using wheel paint clear coat, should be a bit harder, but really its gonna happen thats just part of it sadly.. annual touch ups are part of making it nice forever lol

Maybe it was just me, but that clear for wheels didn't spray worth crap, like if you got it a little heavier in one spot it would make the paint a diffrent color, and dry a satin not gloss. I used regular duplicolor and I have no chips. iirc I did 4 coats of clear.
