2006 GrandPrix 3.8 ltr 107,000 miles, Check engine light on code comes up P2444. I know it's the secondary air induction blower on. Cam anyone tell me whatelse to check? In looking it over I think it maybe the relay on the fuse block. Probably stuck. In reading around i looks as though it could be about 100 different things. Was curious what others have experienced with this failure.

Okay have done some more poking around and discovered there are no relays that I can see that control this motor. It could be the motor is on due to a short, or ECM, or a pressure sensor failure, or a check valve failure, or........web searches seem to be pretty lean when talking about this. I have found some really detailed service info but it sounds like I need a bunch of test devices to watch this thing work and test. I did replace a relay but apparently I misread the labeling. Anyone willing to share some of their knowledge so I don't have to visit my local shop.
