Well my 05 GP GT 83K miles threw a P2440 code (air injector diverter valve stuck open). Cleared the code, drove 400 miles, then the code came back.
My mechanic couldn't find one locally so he is ordering one, $360 and ~$100 to install it.
 


Ok I'm confused why you posted if its getting fixed but none the less welcome to the forums, you'll like it here ask us anything ;-)
 
Sorry, I did a prior search on th P2440 diagnostic code and couldn't find any info. So, I thought I post the cost of fixing it.
 
Latham, north of Albany. But north of Buffalo, isn't that Canada? (lol) Yeah, I know and compared to Buffalo, we don't know what snow really is.
 
If this is the secondary air injection check valve (ACDELCO Part # 2142127 {#12619125} rock auto has them for $132.89 and the gasket for $3.06.

haha that made me laugh pretty hard. And actually, by the number of Canadians we get at our malls around here you would think this is Canada.
 
Yeah, I saw that listing on Rockauto but wasn't sure if it was the right part. Also, I heard it might be a ***** to get at on the car. Anyone know?
