ok so i replaced the egr and cleaned inside where the egr is bolted. but still i keep getting the same egr code. i disconnected the battery for about an hour yet the service engine soon light stays on. i've read different threads about this issue. some say it is a fauly aftermarket egr..( this is my second egr) and others say the problem is i need a pcm tune update from a dealer. and one person from Canadia even said the problem is caused by a dirty fuel cap. CAn anyone help me!!! everybody knows how ****ty it is to have the check engine light on.
