About a month ago, I installed an Airtex replacement sending unit/fuel pump unit. After that I've had my SES light on, multiple times, with the same P0446 code. The light never came on prior to replacing the sending unit. I've checked lines (without dropping the tank), blew air threw them, cleaned the evap canister below the filler neck, etc. I haven't really experienced anything else, except the gas gauge is slightly off. Any ideas on what to check for?
Everything I've read says there is a blockage in the evap system, but I haven't found any issues.
I bought the Airtex unit brand new from partsgeek.com and it looks like I cannot return it.
I've thought about buying an overkill pcm and having the evap tuned out of it. Are there any issues with tuning out the evap on these cars?
It's an 00 GP GT.
