P0440 won't Leave lol

Ok I've been failing inspection and the reason is because of this code. I had a broken evap hose and I put a piece of hose in its place and I changed the gas cap. Maybe the line I used wasn't the correct the one? Here's a pic

Smoke test would let you know if the line repair didnt work or you have another leak.

its in front of the back wheel in the body, the hoses crack off, the plastic tank could have failed, or the sensor on it.
