Boost solenoid is throwing a code. Anyone ever have this issue? I have done some reading and it can be a variety of things from a ground, pcm, to a bad solenoid. Just looking to get a head start on this with any first hand info. I also hear it can be eliminated, not quite sure on how that is done though. I hear you plug off the lower hose, and leave the lower inlet open. I also hear it is not on the BBV, so what exactly am I looking for? I know where the switch is that connects near the BBV right in front of it? Also do I have to tune it out after I eliminate the solenoid, or can I leave the pcm alone since I have no tuner? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
