Other harness in the back of radio

I just install a new radio in the car using this harness kit, Axxess GMRC-02 (gmrc02) Non-Amplified, Non-OnStar Interface

Everything works as it should

But I was wondering what that other harness that plugs into the factory radio purpose is?

Do you still have door chimes etc?

if you got a dic it controls funtion for that the chimes, and steering wheels controls.

Oh ok, and yes the chime comes from the driver door speaker now.
