opoinions on fog lights

just looking for opinions on the fog lights i should get, mine need replacing because one bulb is out. should i go with a nice bright white bulb? or a yellowish one since my car is all black and that would be batman like... haha. im just not sure if yellow would look ricey? opinions please share your thoughts
 


i always wanted to put yellow fogs on my car. they help with seeing in foggy situations. i dont think it looks ricey. what rice car has yellow fogs? a lexus? an audi? not rice.

this is true. and yeah im pretty sure it wouldnt be ricey. the yellow is better for fog and rain which is ood as well speaking that my headlights are slightly tinted... i think im gonna do that. i dont wanna do a full scale HID kit for the fogs so does anyone know where i could get the yellow bulbs from? i heard of one company luminics but im not sure?
 
and whats a good way to tint the lens yellow? i dont have a paint gun so i cant mix yellow paint with clear unfortunately
 
have u ever seen the halo fog lights?? u cin get em in brite white or blue without havn to put the HID in. and wen u order them u cin choose to get the ones tht switch color for free so if u want the yellow u cin change it to that n then jus switch em bak if u feel u dnnt wana be ricy no mor lol
 
I put yellow NOKIA bulbs in my stock ones. Just so you know NOKIA fails miserably, their bulbs last a good 5 minutes before you have to change them again...

I now run the blazertech's I like them, they have a blue tint to them at day and at night they glow yellow
 


im either gonna get the autopia ones that have the halos with different colors i guess, or should i tint my stock ones yellow? i think that would look pretty sick as well
 
I like the Autopia ones we have on the car. I have the halos wired up to come on with the running lights and it looks great.

yea, i like the fact that i can make the halo yellow as well, because i like the yellow look. not really sure what im gonna do just yet though
 
dont color the lenses yellow. buy yellow bulbs. if youre doing HIDs youll have to go way down in the heat ranges, like 2000K.
 


You can purchase a yellow halogen bulb. I had the CPI Gold (selective yellow) in my Autopia foglights in my GP. They're a very pale yellow (slightly yellower than regular halogen headlights). They really make it easier to see the lane markings in rain and fog.
