Open cone intake IATs & KR?

If I'm not mistaken, higher IATs will induce KR and I find that when sitting still in my GP (with an open cone intake) the IATs shoot up (70+*) when I'm moving it's about 10-15* above ambient so that's not a big deal, but the KR it would create in the time it takes to cool down would be bad, no?

I know that a lot of people run open cones so this can't be that big of an issue, right?

But how would you see higher IAT's if the car needs to be moving to then see KR from doing WOT runs?

If you ever watch the IAT temps on a WOT run, they will be at or just above the ambient temp with how much air its trying to suck in.

The PCM is smart enough to adjust for changes in mass air and coolant/intake temps. Which really doesnt matter a ton, because right after the air passes the throttle body the supercharger will compress and super heat the air anyway.
