Onstar randomly going off?

Lady friend has an 01 gt with on star and it will go off randomly while driving and after starting the car. I just pulled the fuse for it. Is there a better way to fix this?

Just keep the fuse pulled. It shouldn't hurt anything also not like onstar works anymore.
