Only one HID works

I had an issue with my driver side HID not working, Bill suggested a relay harness might be needed so I ordered one. Installed it and still no bueno!

Passenger side works and driver side does not.
I tried switching headlights in an attempt to see if it was the housing or bulb and same results driver didnt work
I tried switching the ballasts to see if one of them was the problem and still driver side didnt work.
so both the bulb, headlight housing, and ballast are not the problem because they work on the passenger side.

I checked all my fuses relays etc and didnt find a dead one.

Any ideas?

If the passenger side is working with the harness and you did the ol-swapperroo,check the leads to the drivers side with a volt meter to make sure you are getting 12volts. Make sure the grounds are sanded to bare silver metal. Hopefully you have 2 grounds, one for each headlight ballast. The passenger side has the trigger/old headlight wire to the harness and you know that works.
That means, if the harness is good(ouch!) you should have juice to the other side. Only two wires are the problem.
My drivers side had a flicker at first. I thought WThell,so I swapped ballasts, but at the same time sanded both ground spots on the bumper and the wire ring connects on the leads. I had only scraped the paint with a utility knife blade at first.

Works like a bright-eyed demon now.

Hmm the relay harness has a shared ground not seperate ones...
so thinking what your thinking i took this a step further
If i take the driver side which doesnt work and I plug a NON hid bulb in it works fine lol has power to light standard bulb before and after ballast!
