• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

ok so who on here is from bc

Don't know if its still happening, but there was a cruise in on thursday nights at the McDonalds near the airport-- on a good night 30+ cars would show-- sadly I was the only Grand Prix I saw.

Yup--If you bought it in Steveston. Any luck finding any more 3.4 supporting mods? Also I think I may have met Nascartech's old 01 GT ssm90 new owner-- guy was looking at a m90 I had-- said he just bought the GT from a guy in Abbotsford.

haven't bought any mods yet cuz i'm gonna buy something to check for kr first. Probs gonna try the torque app for android. Also I'm gonna do some visual mods first and probably do the pulley swap beginning of 2012. Will most likely start out with headers and keep going until i get 0 kr on the pulley.

Yes it is and ya we should do a track day I get my N back in may then we should def do a track day and ya that's my old gp so sad I don't got it

My parents live north of Nanaimo on the Island. I've been out 2 summers in a row, would love to see a Grand Prix gathering around Vancouver somewhere. Could do some tuning. If we do a track meet, I can bring out the G8 to stretch its legs, it hasn't seen over 25% throttle since my last visit lol

Hey Will-- please post on here when you're out here next with your tuner-- I'm sure there's at least a few of us in need of a good retune!

Hey, welcome -- good to see another lower mainlander on here! Mods are easy and relatively cheap-- lots of good info around to help. There is a slight chance that a Vancouver (Mission Raceway) might happen sometime soon. (Been waiting a long time!) Some guys on a Western Canada (hint:D) club site were talking about coming out to BC from Alberta this summer.

I have been reading a ton, you are right that there is a lot of info.

The car is 100% stock from the OEM plug wires to the paper element and stock wheels.

I ran a baseline with Android Torque through the OBDII Port and here is what it came out with.

So far I am really impressed with it. If we do a mission day, I was already thinking of setting one up with our Fiero club, and making my wife come out and run the GTP against me in the Fiero. So if you do set up a GTP day I'd love to come. Would be a blast.

I'm out in the lower mainland. Currently very little mods at the moment, just 180stat. I was wondering where do you guys purchase your parts from as well as where can I get a tune done before I add anymore mods such as some headers and my 3.5 pulley that I have sitting around. Yes, I know i need a few more mods before I put on the pulley, but some general information would be helpful. I have seen zzperfomance, but are there any good places to get a tune done out here?

Good place to get parts is from the forum classifieds, lots of different ones-- usually if your patient the parts you're looking for eventually show up. I get most of my parts shipped to Point Roberts saves on cross border costs.(shipping depot called The Letter Carrier- they charge $3.50 per item) Also if you have stuff shipped to you- use USPS-- they normally don't charge for brokerage fees like UPS and Fedex. As for tuning, there's a couple of guys on Van Island who tune ( members on a "Western Canada grand prix forum") or you can get a pretty good mail order tune from Will at Overkill.
