Oily leaky mess..

sI have a 3800 Series 1 in a '95 Buick Regal..

I seemed to have a oil pan gasket leak and an oil leak from the oil filter assembly gasket.

Well I replaced the Assembly gasket and its still leaking pretty good. Im thinking its possibly the timing cover gasket now? Is this common on the Series 1? The cover is different than a Series 2. I did have some trouble replacing the assembly gasket but still sealed well i thought. I didnt use RTV.

Any time the car is started and has not ran in about an hour, the low oil pressure light comes on when first fired up and I hear chatter but goes away in about 3 seconds. It has been doing this for over a year now.. I just recently bought it from my brother. But im assuming this leak has to do with that.

I really dont want to pull the timing cover but im worried the leak is going to get worse. Any advice helps guys, thank you. I attached a picture that kind of shows what im talking about.

Clean it well and then put it on jack stands and fire it up. Look for the leak, once you know which area it is.... it'll be straight forward. The S1 wasn't necessarily known for oil leaks, but it's a 95. Also the oil pressure sensors do leak on these, that's one of the reasons I'm suggesting pinpointing the leak. Wouldn't it be awesome if it was a 5 minute sensor job?

I have looked. It only seems to leak once the car is shut off. I can wipe/clean the area and in the matter of 5 minutes, the 'drip' is back. The oil sensor is dry. Looking between the assembly and the block(i think?), it looks wet half way up but its so hard to tell from where.
