• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

oil pressure light

replaced oil pressure sensor, the engine code went and stayed away for. clip to plug in the harness is too low for the new sensor so now it has wiggle room to move up and down. it was replaced yesterday and was fine all day but this morning the oil pressure light came on for a second a couple times and even flickered on and off, I can't find anyway to force it on. is it possibly because of that clip or possibly a more serious issue?

Check the plug end and see if there is a rubber weather seal in it. Sometimes they get kinked up when you remove them and then won't allow the plug to fully clip in when you reconnect it. That clip should be tight. Also, while it's apart make sure that it's clean and dry inside the plug. No oil or junk in the connections.
