Oil Level Light problem likely the sending unit?

Just wanted to throw this out there before I go and replace the level sensor. When the car sits for anything over an hour, maybe two, the oil level light will come on... if I restart the car it stays off. Therefore I turn the key on, wait for it to come on, turn it off and back on and I'm golden.. is this a sensor issue? what does it trigger? BCM? PCM? is a Batt pull in order to resolve it?

I really don't want to replace it right now, I've got a laundry list of things to do when it dries up outside as it is including sways (front and rear) , LF halfshaft, tires, alignment ( both waiting on sways and shaft, which is again waiting on weather, currently it's sleet/snow/raining 1-4 inches total accumulation for the next 36 hours... )

If it's a batt pull I'll do it when I get home from the oil change, if it's a sensor I'll buy it and put it with the rest of crap to do when I can lay on the ground...

arg....

Oh and where's the best place to pick up an ignition switch?

This is simply a light. If you know it's not a problem and the oil stays up to level etc w/o issue. Crawl under and disconnect the plug, tape it up until you are doing an oil change and want to swap.

BTW, I have a pile.. pay shipping and I'll send you one for cost of shipping.

Sold sir, Shipping to 58504 and a paypal addy. :)
