Oil Leak and No Heat...Please Help if you can

Over the past few months my 2002 Grand Prix GT (125,000 niles) has been over heating while idling and I had no heat in the car. I replaced the thermostat and coolant which solved the over-heating issue but I still have no heat in the car. The only time the heat will come on (blow hot air instead of cool) is when I am going 70mph+. I noticed a small oil leak on the garage floor so when I changed the oil today, the whole bottom side of the engine is covered in oil.

I replaced the intake manifold gasket 2 years ago. I have no mixing of oil to coolant or vise versa. The oil level was a little lower then usual today when I changed it, don't know if that makes a difference.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

Thank You for your time!

You need to clean all that oil off with some degreaser and then try and pinpoint where it is coming from. Could be the pan, valve covers, rear cover, pressure sending unit, etc... Too many things to just guess at it.

Maybe slide a piece of cardboard under the engine and let it sit overnight, then you may get a better idea of where the leak is coming from based on the location of the dripping.

On the no-heat issue I would bleed the cooling system at least 2 more times and get all the air out. Sounds like you may have an air pocket in the system. Use the little valve on top of the thermostat neck and follow the procedure here on the site to bleed it.
