Oil filler neck removal?

I have a 2006 GXP, I have been trying to remove my oil filler neck with no success. I have tried pushing it down and twisting like a presciption bottle cap, also just twisting and I cannot get this thing to come off.

I don't want to break it so I'm not gonna try to hard. The problem I have is with the gasket leaking oil but i can't remove the neck to replace the $2.99 piece of rubber.

Can anyone help? thanks
 


Put the oil cap back on and use that to twist it off. Gives you something better to grip on. The filler neck comes off the same way as the oil cap
 
Tried with no success again. I'm twisting it pretty hard and I feel like the thing is going to snap. I'm gonna try again for a bit.
 
Maybe spray the **** out of the outside of the joint with an upside-down can of air? And make sure you're turning left?
