• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

oil consumption/leak

mechanic said he looked at the crank before he put the new seal on and it looked good, no grove, so no sleeve necessary. he would have done it when it was all apart the first time if it had needed it. the new seal he put on it came from carquest and didn't look like the right one, but he put it in anyway, going to use a seal from gm this time.

I feel like Red throws out whatever comes to mind. Next thing you know he'll suggest changing out a flux capacitor.

I don't care if he was right this one time. It's once...in how many billions of his posts. Plus.. he's a closet Regal guy.

Lmao - Jooo guys know I have an obsession with Regals

I got my car back. the mechanic said when he put the seal in he didn't like it, but used it anyway. when he took the harmonic balancer off the seal was just sitting there right inside it. the new seal he put on came from GM, and he said its a good seal. now when I drive, the car smells like burning oil from all the spillage.
