odb p0103 and p1441

i know the p0103 is the maf... after the car gets up to operating temp, it idles up and down (500-1500)rpms..
i remember reading on here you can check the maf sensor by unplugging it.. can find the thread it was in.... just need to know what im looking for when i do this!


the p1441 say its an evap canister or something.. my gas gauge doesnt work hardly at all.. while in traffic it goes up to full then down to empty..??
is this what this code means?? was told theres a float in or by the fuel pump that needs to be changed.??

any help on these would be great!!

I skipped because of the lack of clear question/info. See personally I dislike having to look up the code numbers to know the description. That's your job as the guy looking for help. What year/model do you have, this may be relevant beyond motor type.

When unplugging the maf, get it to run by using a little throttle and let it learn the tables. If after a little while it runs better then add that to the code and you are replacing a maf or checking it's wiring.

1441, is that purge soleniod, tank pressure, loose gas cap... ??? Your car, please help solve the issue by taking a moment and googling the code to get the name. Might help resolve if it's the sender or not.
