hi all, decided to go to the nurburgring today (im stationed in Germany) with a friend. we took his 3000 gt around first then went out in my 01 gp gt. i was surprised how it handled, not much body roll, but would need better tires if i were to keep doing this in it (which i don't plan on). i bet if the springs and struts/shocks were swapped along with aforementioned better tires and i think it would handle like a beast. my friend took a vid of it but its taking forever to upload. once i finish up my trans am, it ll be my track car. but it was definetly a rush. 12 min lap time isnt amazing, but pretty damn good for a boat that wants to slide around the turns lol. if it was a drier day i would have been a lil faster. doesnt seem like its 26 kilometers long when your driving. :th_lipssealed1:
 


yeah its all stock. i just have slotted/drilled rotors and ceramic pads on it. the car definitely could use more power. ;)
 


yeah ive been here over 2 years. its getting old. the language barrier, money exchange rate, germans thinking americans are dumb, etc etc... i miss home allot. i get back in march time frame.

where are you stationed? im over in vilseck. ive thought about going to the ring while im here, but i dont have a nice enough car. my 84 mercedes 300sd is too slow. but last week i did drive past the hockenhimring. that was pretty cool to see.

Buchel. its a GSU of Spangdahlem. like its about 30 min to the ring from where i live.

ive driven by hockenheim on my way to the black forest and i wanted to goto the NitrOlympx but never got to it. theres 2 museums down by there in Speyer and Sinsheim, got alot of cool stuff there.
