Hey, Just found the GP forum and wanted to introduce myself. I own 3 Grand Prix , a 01 GT that we bought new with 51k that we only drive on nice days or vacation, a 02 SE that's a daily driver with 136k and I just picked up a 02 Gt with only 27K on it. It is as close as you can get to a new one. I have been a professional mechanic for 36 years and think the 97-03 GP is the perfect car. The 3800 gets 32 mpg's, not bad for a full size car, my son's Park Ave gets 35 mpg's. I will try to post some pic's of the cars in the morning.

I have been looking for a month for another GP as my youngest son is buying my SE. Last weekend we drove down to Ft Wayne and checked out several ones but they either had massive rust or tons of miles. One a the Nissan dealer had 171k and a clean car fax for $5k and when I looked under the car I found it had been backed halfed and seamed under the rear seat. What a load of crap selling a car like that on a dealer lot. I stumbled on the 02 in the back of our local Toyota dealer and bought it before they inspected it for 7500 bucks. It needs a right front speaker and that's all. Low mile ones are out there you just have to be in the right place at the right time.
