not sure whats wrong...

i drive an 06 grand prix, just the base model. i was at a stopsign today and when it was clear i hit the gas. the car went 2-3 feet and then there was a loud clunk/bang. Now my car only drives in reverse and 2nd and 1st drive. but in 2nd and 1st it wont drive smoothly and the car vibrates/shakes violently. did i just blow out my transmission?

Sounds like the forward band snapped. Normally it wont make a noise, but yours prolly went KA-BOOM and now the trans is gone.
