Northstar/LQ4 intake setup

Hey all,

Working toward a Gen V / Northstar swap on my SS, planning the intake setup.

Originally I had planned to have N*>coupler>MAF>Cone

I don't seem to have enough room though, the strut tower gets in the way. I will be using a 45* bend.

Question is, should the MAF go before or after the bend? The stock N* setup has the MAF at the airbox, but the L67 has the MAF in the throttle body.... so two extremes there. Some tuning websites suggest that having the MAF too close to the TB of a supercharged car can cause turbulence and goofy readings on deceleration. Thoughts? Pictures of your N* setups?

My old build i did that as well

New build maf is closer to the throttle body
Ziptie the throttle body cable and cruise control to the n* bracket if you arent buying the zzp one

I heard you have to bend the bracket somewhat, I had no idea any zipties were necessary. Perhaps I can get a close-up of that?

Thanks, I did hack off a bunch of the bracket that didn't appear necessary, and rounded the corners where I cut also.
