Non HD Diff To A HD Diff

I was woundering what the gear ratio would be when I put the hd diff into my non hd 4t65e trans

Won't change. All grand prix's non-hd and hd have a 3.29 final drive ratio differential. The gtp's get the 2.93 from different drive sprockets. Impala's and Buick Regal's have 3.05 non hd diff's.

Ahem. 04+ NA has 3.05. Not 100% relevant here but I thought I'd let you know.

Yea that is true as well. Figured it didn't matter since the OP had a 97-03
