Assembling parts for a DOD delete on a 2008 GXP. I've got all the part numbers for the lifters, gaskets,etc. All except for the GM part number for a stock lift one bolt non dod cam. I know that 2007+ they changed cam gears and the cam to a one bolt design. Will a 2007+ 5.3L truck cam work? Thanks.

You have to be very specific in what camshaft you pick from a 5.3.
All the half ton trucks, SUV's like the yukon/tahoe all run AFM/DoD in the 2007.5+ trucks.
The only 5.3 that did not use the AFM was when it came equipped in the Chevy Express van or the GMC Savanna van from 2010-2014. That was the LMF engine.
I believe the camshaft part number would be different than the LMG, LC9 and LY5/LH6 versions of the AFM/DoD 5.3 engines.

Or buy a L33 camshaft and the 3 bolt 4X cam gear and call it a day.
