Noisy blower motor (HVAC fan )

Hello all ! New to this forum , Im a regular over at LS1tech . I just bought a 1997 GTP for the wife and it has the Dual climate control option . When you turn on the fan ( or AC or Heat ) the fan is so loud you cant hear yourself think ! I mean it is LOUD and will vibrate the dash and your feet ! :th_scratchhead::th_shakinghead1:

Sooo , does anyone know where the blower motor is for these cars ? I checked inside the engine compartment and didnt see it where I normally would suspect it would be. Is it under the dash in the passenger compartment ? How hard is it to replace the blower motor ?

it's located behind the glove box. Remove the passenger side kick panel under the dash. Once you do this you will be able to see the blower motor, its held in by 3 bolts.
