Noise

Hey there i need some help with my car. It's a 2001 gtp has 121000 just got it for 650. Was running great then and now if I go full throttle it makes a noise. Like if my turbo is locking up and the car try's to stall. I'm going to try a new coupler there's some play. Could that be doing it or is the turbo on its way out any help would be great thanks.

turbos dont have couplers, you dont have a turbo

What was it? Bad pulley bearings?

No bad cat it was pushing to much back pressure and was locking up the motor

What kind of $650 GTP pos did you find? And where in NC? Hell, i would have paid that for the motor possibly.

You can pick up a S/C Series II from a junk yard for a little over $500 over where i live i have 5 junkyards within 15 mins of driving lol.

It runs great the only problem I'm having now is the dic the car only has 121000 and was a 1 owner
