noise from supercharger?

I have a 05 gtp and have been experiencing a weird noise when engine is under load. The noise sounds just like an exhaust leak, it's a clicking sound and it gets louder and faster the more throttle I give it expecially at wot. Here's the thing, I can put the factory air box back on the car and can't hear it. I took the supercharger belt off and drove it and the noise is not as loud and goes away after a certain rpm. While in neutral or park it doesn't do it at all, just in drive under load. Only explanation I can think of is its something in the supercharger. It does seem like it has a loss of power sometimes to. I know when the car is at idle I can hear rattling bearing sound in the charger but it's not loud and you have to listen for it to hear it.
 


If you took the belt off of the s/c and you still hear it, then it's not the charger.
Exhaust possibly? A pulley?

Get yourself a mechanics stethoscope and put a piece of steel line in the end and start listening.
