noise comming from intake...

hey guys i have the 97 gtp and i notice when i start the car in the morning u hear a noise in the intake. it almost sounds like the supercharger. what can this be? wen it warms up its fine.

Cause sounding like the supercharger would be a loud whine type noise.

My intake always sounded crazy at cold idle, on both GT and GTP. So unless its a nasty tapping/metal on metal noise its more than likely normal.

normal, its just the IAC valve.

mine sounds like crap too, till it warms up, (maybe 2 to 3 minutes) kinda sounds like a gurgling with a few rocks.

i also have 213,000 miles on mine.

Yea thats wat it sounds like i also have 274000 kms. On mine .. And im gonna change supercharger oil in mine soon
