Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

noise coming from the supercharger??? (video)

grindy rocky noise but doesn't sound like the typical coupler... sounds like a bearing is going out or possibly a rough point on the rotors rubbing the case. During the rev up it only gets faster so its bad but you really need a mechanics stethoscope to determine if its from the snout (needle bearings or coupler) or from the case itself (rotor bearings, rotors rubbing)

could be fixable without having to order a whole new supercharger

tumbling rocks? grinding? groaning? what is it doing?

it sounds like a 2 stroke dirt bike engine if that helps describe the noise:th_jester:

to be completely honest i was planning on porting the gen 3 but I can always get a used gen 5 blower from zzp for 500 bucks + TB adapter plate

When the car is at idle and the bypass valve is held shut, the noise gets quiet but when open in vacuum the noise comes back???

:confused::confused::confused::confused:

remove the s/c belt and turn the pulley back and forth like snap it, and feel for play in the pulley, if so you at least know you need a coupler.
