No Start - - key was stuck - No Lights except for oil and door open

I went to start my 2001 Grand Prix and the key got stuck and it would not start. I got the key out but the the motor would not turn over and I don't have any dash lights except for the door open and oil light. These two dash lights are dim.The horn is is not loud and does not sound normal. The horn is so quiet is is almost hard to hear. The headlights and no other lights work. The power locks make a small chirping sound that is coming from under the driver side floorboard. It will not come out of park unless I push the shift release.

The battery tested okay and I replaced the ignition. What should I test next?

Check the cables at the battery. Sounds like a corroded/loose connection. Don't just "look" at the cables, physically try and move them. If loose or dirty then clean them up and retighten.
