No start after engine put back together

Mods in sig, turned engine over a few times to build oil pressure, then primed fuel lines 5 times, started car, it started up was kind of bouncing up and down at 1k rpms, then went down to 6, then 4 and then idled there for a bit, then turned off. now it wont start back up.

i figure im gonna start with a compression test and go from there, also check to see if the sensors on the N* tb are reading.

is there anything special im supposed to do for the Idle Air Control on a N* or PCV?

also while it was idling, it sounded like it was misfiring. i really hope my pushrods are not too long, compression test will tell me that. they seemed fine. maybe its something simple as spark plug wires not in the right spot or something, but would that make the car to stall and cause no start?

How longs the car been sitting? I'm thinking fuel starvation. Either pull the fuel line off and turn the key to see if the pump is getting fuel there or starting fluid in the intake which might be a little more harsh and bad on the supercharger's rotor coating, but a quick check. Fuel filter could of clogged up if it sat for a while.

well i primed pump 5 times before start.
Right so some fuel could of got through and then clogged. If the car sits for a day and then you're able to get it to start, then it might have something to do with the pushrod length and having it sit for a day let the lifters bleed out, but I'd say check for fuel. Do you still hear the fuel pump run when you turn the key?

This site has turned me into a carpochondriac. Everytime someone has something wrong with their car I replace it on mine. lol. I just ordered both crankshaft sensors a camshaft sensor and a compression tester. Thought I was done under the hood. At this rate I'll never get this car finished, but man,I am learning so much from you guys.

Man this sounds my situation.. I would check fuel for sure my car sat for a couple days before I cranked it and it turned out I had to bend tab 85 on my fuel relay to keep it on.. hows your oil? Any sludge? Any Coolant in the throttle body?

Let the car cool.. see if it'll start up again. If so, when your lifters are pumping up..they are holding cylinders open. That happened to Sexman a while back on his build.

You could also have an air bubble in the system that is overheating the engine and allowing it to bind. This is usually not a problem if you aren't revving etc and it stalls.

Nothing special with the IAC. PCV.. yes you need to reroute it to the TB. If you have an adapter plate on their..likely it's blocked.

how do I route it to the tb? also couldn't run engine long enough to cause a heating issue. I will likely need to buy a set of shorter pushrods....

so far, i found coolant in my intake leaking from between the adaptor plate and my supercharger getting sucked into inlet. gotta figure out a way to seal that, maybe some quicksteel. will get the stuff to fix it tomorrow and go from there.

would that be enough to stall out the engine, i dont think it ingested enough coolant to fill the cylinders

Not yet man been busy at work tomorrow ima get on it hopefully by the weeekend I will have a running car
