First, I apologize greatly if this has been covered already.
I have looked through the forums and did not see any specific answers to this. My buddy has an 05 Grand Prix that came with one remote. The remote will open the trunk but will not lock, will not unlock, and when you press the remote start button it just flashes the parking lights once. I believe the single flash of the lights is to reflect the fact lock was not pressed before trying to start it. I found a bunch of posts that talk about removing the MALL/PGM fuse but this car does not have a MALL/PGM fuse in either fuse box. I tried the sequence shown on those instructions, without removing the fuse (obviously), and when you hold the lock/unlock button after cycling the key to acc/off open door, etc. the driver's door unlocks but the remote still does not operate properly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
