Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

No Heat

I have an 2006 Grand Prix, I no longer get heat in the car. I have replaced the drivers side actuator motor. The lines to the heater core are hot on both lines. What else should or could I look at?

I replaced the drivers side and still only have cold. i do have dual climate control, is the passenger side just as important?

by chance when you had the actuator off, did you try to turn the knob it sits on, turn it one way is cold, the other is hot. if its sticky or wont move, the actuator wont turn it.

you can also take the glove box off, and change the temp while holding your finger on the part that moves to see if its moving at all if you dont want to just take it off.

if you do take it off, leave it plugged in, then work the temp up and then down, see if it moves. if it dont move you may have a blown fuse or bad climate control.

whats the outside temp reading, is it accurate? or way off, the temp sensor can also throw off your heat.
