no heat

driving me absolutely crazy for the past week and a half.

replaced the dexcool in my car and got an air pocket in my coolant system. tried bleeding using the screw on the tstat housing, as well i have replaced my thermostat.i've tried lifting the front end off the ground to help the air out, bubbling through the rad cap, spent 4 hours yesterday running the car and getting it to burp air out of the bleeder screw but again this morning i get no heat unless the rpm's are above 4000. cracked the bleed screw this morning and it just pisses coolant with no air. rad hose right before t-stat is warm as well.

what i'm getting at is there any specific procedure to bleed these systems? searched through mitchell/all data and no specific procedure for coolant replacement.

i'm also suspecting maybe i got a bad t-stat?

any advice would be good

HAve car cold.

Remove thermostat. Fill LIM with coolant all the way. Put thermo back on and hose. Then with the rad cap on start car and run up to temp and bleed the air out. Or even have some one hold it at 2k rpms and open the bleeder for 5-10 seconds multiple times.
