The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
I have a 2008 Grand Prix. I have noticed the last year the heat coming out of the vent is luke warm. when I accelerate it gets warmer but at idle it cools off again. I have 73,000 miles on it. Is it time for a flush?
Well, I had the system flushed and thermostat replaced. Now that winter is here I am still at square one. Someone told me it could be the temperature control valve?
Do a complete system flush and then do a reverse flush through the heater core. Blast a hose through both the things of the heater core. Make sure u have clean and the same amount of pressue coming through both ends. Then u should be good.
What happens is when u take off, the water pump pumps more pressure through and that's y its warmer until u slow down. Then its not pumped as hard and fast.
