No fire after LIM gasket work...

I changed the upper, lower intake gaskets, throttle body gasket and valve cover gaskets. I double and triple checked the electrical connectors and everything is connected. I did the spark test putting the screwdriver in the spark plug boot when turning it over and I have no spark.

I'm leaning towards the connector on the ICM, and checking the coils. Does anyone have any other advice for me? Something else I should check?

did you take the coil bracket off? theres a ground wire that needs to be bolted back on the side of the head by the sc tensioner

My battery connections are good. @Scottydoggs I think I put that ground wire on the dogbone bracket. Can you give me a bit more detail to where it's supposed to be bolted to. Thanks.

move it to the side of the head where the sc tensioner is. take the tensioner off, then bolt it on to one of them 2 other bolts. you may see a out line of the eye loop on the head or bracket.

Alright thanks! I hope that fixes it! I'll be at it tonight!

Here's some pics of the work so far:

did you rtv the gaskets to the lim?

they lay on the head with them 2 pins, same for the rubber on the front and back side, the pins goi in the holes in the block.

dab rtv in the 4 corners before any gaskets are in, then put the rubber ends on, then the metal lim gasket, then a dab in all 4 corners again. drop the lim on.

other then the dab of rtv in the corners, they go in dry.

Not sure what you mean by rtv? I did place the left and right gaskets in the holes then used silicone on the corners when I put the lim in place on the aluminum side gaskets.

That's a metal gasket and yes it has rtv on it. I did the same with the other 2 gaskets when I put them in the holes too.

it should be installed dry, no rtv.

can you post a vid of it trying to start? maybe its sucking air form the lim if it didn't seat right.

My issue right now is I have no spark so I'm going to try changing the place for ground first. I put a thin layer of silicone like there already was when I took the old gaskets out. I'll do a vacuum test once I get it started. Unfortunately I will only get to it tonight.

Yup my vote would be check the ground wire that's around the coil pack.. Check the voltage if needed. I've had the little wire break on me a time or two and stopped the car from starting.
