No Compass Direction in the HUD - 08 GXP

I have an 08 GXP, I cleaned out the car this weekend and bumped the HUD dial on the center console and today I noticed that the HUD wasnt showing the direction anymore. I tried changing the formats with the center button but still nothing. I dont get why its not showing all of a sudden, everything else shows.

Would re calibrating the compass do something?

or could something have happened to the compass module??

any ideas or help would be appreciated

Is the direction say cal in the dic? I know my subs throw mine off and it goes away in the HUD when it needs calibrated

I think it does, I saw that the other day and wasn't sure what the cal meant

yea cal it, your manual should give you the time zone number and you need to like drive in circles and ****

I usually just don't hit cal and it does it before I get to work.
