No CEL/SES light

hey all, need some help with this. My CEL light wont turn on, even when I turn the key to cel, no light, when I start still no light.
I thought the previous owner may of messed with the bulb in the cluster, its 2005 GTP but when i took it apart i saw that it was led type bulb which is made into the circuit board. Is there a relay or fuse I can check for the CEL light?

Thanks

The LED could still be bad.

There is no relay and I'm sure the dash lights are tied into another circuit but without a wire diagram I am not totally sure. If every other light comes on like ABS/high beams/cruise control etc etc I'd say it's the bulb and a very slim chance the circuit on the board is bad.

Thanks for this.
All other lights works fine, just the CEL light is out. Is it hard to change the led bulb? or should i get a used cluster and replace?
thanks

Have a shop do a light check with a scanner. If it doesnt light up look around for local electronics repair shop or attempt to replace it your self. Several threads on LED replacement.

if the light dont come on with the rest of the dummy lights just key to run the bulb is bad, if you scan the car you will have a code for the bulb being out most likely.

auto zone scans for free, as do many other parts stores.

I have an obd reader tool, there is no code for a blown ses light. I got another cluster from a junk yard for $20. Chucked it in and ses light works. Guess the bulb was bad on the old one

I bet some used car dealership cut the trace on the board for it.
LED's rarely go Bad. Used car places, are bad by definition :)
