• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

No 3,4th gear. torque converter question...

Ill have to read that a few times, I am going to see if my original fittings have the check ball or not

OK after reading especially post # 6 from the link you provided. I have no idea what year the replacement tranny came from. maybe a 98-99.

So I gather that I cannot put my quick connect fittings from the 2000 on this "1999" transmission. So they are not 100% interchangeable. I got that part.

So i will need to....

They are 100% interchangeable. Had the exact same scenario on my brothers car. Put a trans from a '99 Regal into his '02 Regal. Pulled the push lock fittings from the smoked trans and put them in the donor trans. Didn't know about the check ball in the cooler feed fitting at the time so it's still in there.

Just swap the fittings. You'll be fine.

Well the one on the bottom is the forward apply band I pulled out of your trans.. Lmao

Is there any indication of why the lug broke off? Heat checks, stress cracks, fatigue? Anything? It appears to have the high energy lining, which would indicate a later build.
