Newer heads or not?

Hey 97 Grand Prix SE. 3800 series 2 engine, 125000 miles, dd only, Automatic, would it be wise to purchase some newer heads/rockers(2003 ^^^), or would these 97 stock heads,(decked w/valve jobs), be fine for normal everyday driving. I punch it from time to time when I am alone, but most part, it will be just the families dd.
I have a olds Calais s. 2.3 liter DOHC quad 4 engine that I race around and have fun in.
 


The heads should be fine just have them magna fluxed to check for cracks and deck them aswell as a valve job and you will be good to go
