I just bought my wife a 2000 GP GT and it has the dual climate control. The drivers side vents blow warm air, the pass. side though blows cold air even when i turn the temp up to 90. Ive read something about "blend door" ? Is there a blend door on the pass. side also, if so, can i access it on the pass. side without tearing the dash apart ?

Another thing i noticed it seems like it takes forever for the car to warm up. I just replaced the dexi-cool & thermostat today and bled the system with the little bleeder on top of the thermostat housing. It seems like that helped a little, i can let the car sit and idle forever and it never gets hot enough to activate the cooling fans. Where should my temp guage be when the car is warmed up ? Mine is staying on the thick white line between 160 and 210 is that correct ? My car will never get above that point on the gauge.

any help would be appreciated ..

i can only tell you that mine usually stays at the same running temp, which i figure to be 185, it does raise a little at the drive thru or when caught in traffic...
it did run a little hotter when i first got it, but i flushed out the dex and replaced it with prestone ext. life and it cooled it down...
sorry i can't help with the pass. heat problem, but someone else here i'm sure will

i went out and checked this morning, i can hear the blend door moving on the drivers side but nothing happening on pass. side.

Is the pass. side elec. operated blend door or vacuum ? does anyone know where its located ?

i have a similar problem, when I run the AC the passenger side comes out nice and cold but the driver side is noticeably warmer...
