Hey guys and gals! New to the forum here. I got 2 Supercharged 3800's on trade. One needs a water pump and the other has a hole in the block. May sell the S/C or keep for parts... Meanwhile, the good engine I will be putting into my sandrail next year. Wondering if anyone knows who does chroming or custom airbrushing. Want to spice it up a bit while its on the engine stand. Thanks in advance!:th_thumbsup-wink:

There are a couple guys here that do painting engine pieces etc for people.. Check with WhitComb, hes done some amazing stuff as far as paint goes.

hmmm not off the top of my head but let me to some checking for ya. Check this guy out... 95naSTA. I'm pretty sure he is the one doing a build and had a bunch of stuff chromed out. I know I saw pictures on another forum I frequent.

Welcome to GPF. In order to R&R that water pump, you need to loosen both yet remove only the top power steering pump bolt; accessible with an extension through the pulley slots, then push it to the side while you remove/thread in the annoying bolt. I wish I knew that before I started a side job on a Le Sabre.

Thanks for the heads up AJ but, these motors are on engine stands... It will all be torn down and have a new gasket kit installed
