Hey Guys,
First off My name is Sloan and live in edmonton. I drive a blown saturn and love GM. But on to the reason that I am bothering you fine people. My younger brother just bought a 2001 grand prix 3800 n/a I will probably be looking for some advice for mods in the future as he too would like to s/c but for now he is having power steering issues and I am hoping you guys can help. It was apparently working fine until he hit a snow drift i am sure it was packed and icy so on and so forth. So we took her to the car wash to melt and blow the snow off and let her sit in the heated garage over night. It still isn't operating at all and it feels as if the power steering has completely failed. I have checked the fluid level (what a pain in the A$$) and the level and color seem to be fine. Any help with further diagnoses would be greatly appreciated
Thanks Guys
Sloan

power steering issues could result from alot of things. start the engine with the cap off, don't turn the wheel, and see if there is any action within the reservoir itself. Also, if you have access to a hoist, lift it up and check all the lines very carefully, they are in areas prone to damage.
