Newb with Airbag Module problem

Hey Everyone! I'm new to the site. My airbag light has been on and I've taken it to a few dealerships. It's a 2007 but not covered under the warranty. The code that come up is the airbag module code. Anyone else have this problem or have any suggestions to help. The dealership said it'd be around $1500 to repair! Yikes!
 


I dont have any info on how to fix it... but if the bag itself needs to be replaced Check morad parts company and/or LKQ on ebay.
 
It's in the shop now. They think it's the sensor in the seat. The part is $715. Then the seat needs re-upholstered since it's part of the seat. Obviously it's a costly repair but I really have no choice. It will not pass inspection with the light on....
