Just sold my bagged 92 toyo pickup and picked up a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix Gtp 114k mi. at a local county auction... I didnt even go to the day before viewing for the vehicles... lol Lucky me I got this one because there were 02 and 05 avalanche and trail blazers were missing interior, dash, and whole floor boards cut out! (Drug haulers) All others were either smoking or wouldn't run! Woot woot!
Any way, I paid $1500 for it. Only one window motor worked (took the others apart and got new regulator assembly's priced @ 35 on ebay), Two 8" cracks on the bottom of the windshield, sunroof stuck, On Star outta date, and different size rims and tires all around. Large crack in front bumper left side top to bottom and both air bags blown (don't really care). Took a look under the hood later on and you can tell it looked like it had a left front collision. Repaired moderately, you can see rippled metal but new radiator supp. new radiator, brake caliper, pads, and new A-frame etc. You can see inner tie rod has a slight bend but not bad. Noticed a wheel hop/ vibration about 45-55 driving straight or slightly one way (don't remember... lol). Keep the steering wheel slightly the other way at all it would go away. My guess is somewhere between shot tires and odd rim size. LOL Already bought a set of 17" rims with 215/45-R17's on them for $100 total. Gonna put them on soon and see if my $1600 decision payed off. Best of all Title is clean, no salvage lol.

Hopefully some lithium grease and muscle will get this thing goin again...
Window regulator pulley and cables scrambled. FYI, if your window doesn't go down, dont try forcing it or this happens...
Recall been done? its got the protective shields on the plug wires. Honestly don't think that will stop an oil fire...

Putting these old rims and tires for sale locally i guess, or should i keep them?
