New window motor and regulator. Still not working.

I havent rolled my Driver side window down in 4 years atleast. So its about time I fix this. I recieved my window and regulator set from Amazon a few days ago and went to go install it today. Its pretty simple but when I try to roll the window up or down, itll move about an 1/8 up or down and just stop. Even with the window not set on the regulator yet. I honestly dont know where to look next. Prease help :)
 


make sure the cable is on the plastic sliders where they run to the motor.

you can also jump power to the motor of the old regulator, see if it works, it may be a bad switch. you can also test the new one as well with long enough wires while its in the car.
